Margaret has worked in healthcare her entire career with her work spanning from behavioral health, home health, hospice, assisted living and long-term care administration, to her work now with the Alzheimer's Association as the Development and Walk Manager. Margaret has always considered herself a healthcare advocate, and holds the belief that when communities have access to equitable healthcare and opportunities, communities can thrive. She currently serves on committees at Senior Neighbors and is the president of Advocates for Senior Issues through the Area Agency on Aging. Margaret is a longstanding advocate of Veterans and has been organizing community Veteran events over the past 15 years. As a former Navy wife, and the daughter of a WWII Veteran, Margaret believes honoring and remembering our Veterans, and retelling their histories and their stories, is critical for younger generations.
